We accept Interac e-Transfers. Send them to sbfpsanctuary@gmail.com and they will be automatically deposited. Tax receipts will be sent at year-end. First time donors should also send us an email with your name and address for the tax receipt.
If you have a PayPal account, you can make a one-time donation through PayPal Giving Fund Canada, a registered charity run by PayPal. They will issue you an immediate tax receipt, and they will pass your full donation on to us without charging any fees.
All donations made through PayPal Giving Fund Canada are non-refundable.
A one-time donation does not require a PayPal account. You can pay by credit card. To make a monthly donation you will need a PayPal account. We issue tax receipts for donations of $20 or more annually. Donors will receive their tax receipt for the whole year the following January.
CanadaHelps issues instant Canadian tax receipts for one-time donations. You will need a CanadaHelps account to capture the information for the tax receipt, and for the monthly donation, if applicable. Monthly donors will receive their tax receipt for the whole year the following January. CanadaHelps now accepts GooglePay.
Note: PayPal's fees to us are lower for monthly donations of $15.78 or more, and one-time donations of $12.50 or more.
Charitable Impact is an online giving platform that works like a bank account for charity. If you have an account with them you can give to us here.
The link below allows you to donate securities through CanadaHelps. They will give you an immediate tax receipt, sell the securities and send us the proceeds, less their fee which is usually 3%. To send the securities to us directly so we get the full amount, please contact us for a donation form.
We would love you to remember us in your will. The easiest way is to name us as a beneficiary, specifying the sanctuary both by name (Story Book Farm Primate Sanctuary) and by charitable registration number (84081 7910 RR0001). The tax benefits of donating securities described above also apply to bequests made in a will. If you prefer to spread your donation over time, your financial adviser can help you with ways to do this.
